Well I think I might make this dress again but make the skirt part a simple A-line, right now there is to much fabric at the sides which add to my width. So that extra bit of fabric has to go. But you're right if the lowered waist isn't for you then you could simple get rid of it, I wouldn't raise it to waist height because then the middle piece will like a narrow band. Thanks! Sorry it doesn't fit flatteringly. The worry of looking botton heavy has put me off getting this pattern even though I love it. The book database is mostly just to know which books we have so we don't buy doubles. The recipe database is mostly for myself. I collect recipes and try them / put pictures.
